I need a way to capture video from my camcorder. It is a digital 8 camera. I have a cord for it that converts it to a white, red and yellow RCA. I have a Dazzle DVC uploader, and a Dazzle Movie Star program, but 5 years of film school wouldn't teach me to use the frickin program. Anyone have a easy way?

AVID has a free edition for basic video stuff. I have a retail version of pinnacle, and it does video capture relatively simple. Avid an Pinnalce are made by the same folks so... Maybe it will work... I will try to find the links later....

Hey Frank,
I Think I have a way around it... If you have a USB cable... hook it in form the Camara to the PC. Go into My Computer and it should detect the Camara as a data drive. (Drive E or F...)
Click into it and find where the cmara stores its video files... then copy and paste to your desktop. (It work for me.. hopefully it will work for you. I think it'll work, so long as it uses a memory card system instead of film..)
