Hemi, Indy....Both are too obvious. There's a reason why people get paid to come up with brand names for a living. It ain't easy. Just like any other job, there is a process. Come up with TEN names that you like. Then trim the list down to three or four. Then work out the final selection.
For example, in developing the name for my MuscleRides monthly column, here are the four top titles.
**5 o clock somewhere
**Penetration
**Depraved
**Hot Rod Relish
Hot Rod Relish was chosen because of the double meaning for the word Relish. It's:
A: a condiment. And I like condiments.
B: A synonym for the verb "obsess". And I most definitely obsess over cars.
So the title is silly and meaningful at the same time. Is it wierd? Maybe. So was Jello at first. But with repetition and over time, brand names becomes ingrained.
Nothing wrong with Hemi or Indy, but a special wheel from a special car deserves a special name. Take your time. Come up with a list of choices. You might even end up combining two choices to create a new word.
Someday when we're in a bar together, I'll tell you the story about the shitstorm I created when naming one of World Products' cylinder heads.

When they circumsized me, the took the foreskin and made on of those little pop open coin holders out of it...One of the nurses rubbed it a couple times and it grew into a 3 suit 2 week stay piece of luggage. So don't let the size of it COLD influence your evaluation

The wheels are a new design, basically are a one off for the Cuda, but they are going to start making them and selling and need a name. Or at least that is the way I understand it.:thumb:

There have been a lot of interesting names..I personally like Ito..for the man who designed the wheels and my Cuda. I have the utmost respect and admiration for him. He has not received nearly enough credit for the past work he's done for people. Alan, myself, and a few others will review all the suggestions and finalize this. Thanks to everyone who racked their brain to come up with these suggestions.

You have got to go with ITO'S, I have had the opportunity to see this project unfold into something bigger than I think any party involved would have ever dreamed. There has been alot of hard work and countless hours spent on this project that most people will never realize or understand. One of the key people behind this projects name is Chris Ito he is a designer that by what I can see does his job precisely and with little credit lots of time. What I am trying to say is from a behind the scenes guy I think that would be a tribute to a simple, quiet man that will be more appreciated than all parties will ever know. Just My Opinion!!!!! For What It Is Worth!!!
