Don't really consider my 02 Mustang GT a "Muscle Ride", but I sure don't mind talkin with guys that have'em!

Bout the closest thing I have to a "MR", is my Dad's 1970 Cuda, which is by far NOT a Pro-Touring setup car. More like "picked up where the 70's left off". While it's not my idea of a corner carver, it is what it's supposed to be for him, a cruisin' car.

Looks like Bill will be inviting you guys down to Pigeon Forge, TN in mid September for some cruisin', drag racin', and some autocrossin'! Can't wait to see what everyone brings!

Welcome. This site isn't based on Pro-Touring cars, so that 'Cuda of yours is fitting in here already. Can we see it? Please? I'll be good. I promise........ Damn, lying's hard.

Don't let this guy bluff anyone, I have seen the stang....:D
You can too if you watch the autocross video. Don't sell yourself short Tony, this is not a protouring site, it is about any car that is driving hard and enjoyed and I KNOW you fit that category. Welcome to musclerides and check out our homepage too. Unfortunately you have to go to www.musclerides.com to see it, since we do not have a linky from here to there yet. That will change very soon though. Great to see another local guy here.

Car is a 1970 Plymouth Cuda, 440 Super Commando with a TorqueFlight. Car has about 50,000 miles and still has the original paint, and really never been restored minus under hood detailing and some replacement parts on the inside(door panels/repaired seat/cleaned up sill plates).

Number matching motor is still storage. The old motor you see in pix is a 400 from some other car......new motor is a Hensley Racing 500ci with 2 Edelbrock 500cfm's on top(old picture shows the old intake/carb combo). We recently swapped out the old drag racing 4.10(or 4.11?)gear and put a more friendly 3.55 in there to keep it driver friendly now that it's duties have changed.

Welcome. Your Dad's got a nice Cuda. The Mustang is not bad either.

Thanks for the compliments. The car is still, and most likely will continue to be a rolling project. A nice new/fresh paint job would really make the car, but the original paint is still a nice touch.

Not seen in the pictures, but it has been fitted with some 15x8 Cragar's(you know the style ;) )out back and 15x7's in the front.

You know the Mustang is just a "plain white wrapper", nothin' special there that you can't find the same a dealers car lot. ;)

Yea, I can find a few HPT'ers here and there. :)

Well, thanks for compliments, but with 240whp, the Mustang is far from if maybe just marginal a "muscle ride". So having said that, you gotta make sure the carpet behind the brake pedal stays nice and new and the carpet behind the gas pedal is worn to the metal!
