Paint?

I'm looking for some ideas to break up the RED on my SS. I want to keep the Red as the base color of the car, but I just want to have something as an Eye Catcher. You know,....Something that'll
jump out at you.

So,...whatcha got?

Have you seen the 2002 GMMG ZL1 Camaro stripe job? Something similar to that would rock....

I've looked at several Stripe Pkgs.
The GMMG ZL1 Stripe which is the Single Wide Stripe down the center
of the hood, rear deck lid, and spoiler.
I've also thought about the 30th Anniversary Stripe Pkg. that Berger Chevrolet
was using on their SS's
I'm not really looking for a Solid Stripe though... probably something Airbrushed.
I could get the stripes painted on with some airbrush work done inside the stripes. That would be different, and different is what I'm looking for.
Not something that you see everyday.

Hello this is George owner of GP Graphics Designs love the car and your right would look killer with some contrasting stripe or graphics, i have a few suggestions and the air brush look is doable without even painting your car and for half the price! We are one of only a few here in Ohio doing full Digital printing vinyl and it is amazing same process as the nascar wraps you see but we can do it in a thin stripe to the size of a billboard and actually take a photo and ad to it for example text or designs to make up a sweet free flowing design that would fit your car thats the key is that it fits and compliments the body design any ?'s hollar back be sure to get you my number later George GP Graphic Design

Hmmm, never really thought about that route before.
I know they do the Vinyl Wraps in NASCAR...
Say George, if y'all do create a specific design for me
1) Will it be Exculsively for my car
2) Will you be able to keep it on file for duplicates if needed or changes
without having to recreate the entire image

What about doing just the raised part of the hood black? I say black because, with the theme of your car so far, everything is black and red. It may look funny to have everything black and red, then a rainbow colored stripe up the middle!
Maybe something ghosted on the hood or front fenders?

as for the black scoop.. I would do the sides of the scoop, having the ss letters (SS 350 or 400 HP stenciled in red.) (I know that your ss probably has a load more than 400hp though...

Yeah, you could say that.

I have thought about doing just the sides also.
However, I saw several WS-6's and T/A's on the Power Tour
with the same design. But like I said.... I'm open to suggestions.
I'd like to see what you can come up with.


As for as the RWHP Rating.
I really don't DYNO Race anymore.

set it apart by doing a simple two tone with a charcoal or a silver, and then if you like the ghost idea, ghost a stripe over the hood scoop about 1 or two shades darker, something very subtle...

I'm NOT going to paint my SS Gray.:smack: I intend on keeping the Base color a
Bright Red. Just thinking of a way to break it up... Ya know...add a little
character to it so it isn't just another Plain Red car on the highway.

I would say black hockey stripes on the sides w/ the LSX designation in the stripe on the front of the fender.
