Thought I would share one of the latest cars I photographed. It is a '69 Cougar Convertible owned my Mark Iorio of Missouri. The car was built by Hot Rod Express in Blue Springs, Missouri. Enjoy!

As always, your shots are just superior quality... Always the right angle, the right lighting, and the lines of the car just POP. The magic is getting all of those things right, and you nail it every time.
I want to be you when I grow up.

Who did do the interior? I saw a car at SEMA with similar seats, a torino or something? Didn't Alloways mustang have those rings in his seats too?

I wondered when someone would do an older mercury with the modern mercury engine, nice piece. I am even warming up to the hood.....slowly. It is really hard for me to dig an aftermarket hood most of the time.:thumb:

The interior was done by Leonard Gaither. He is the Hot Rod Expresses in house upholstery guy. You are right, Alloways mustang had them too. I know the hood isn't everyones taste, but they spent a lot of time (and money) building it to have an Eliminator style look to it.

I should have mentioned, if you want to see more and read more on this cool Cougar, look for a full feature in an upcoming issue of Super Rod.

Just read the article in Super Rod, very nice write up and pic's! I have purchased some parts from Hot Rod Express, very good people to work with, A+++! I am building a '67 Cougar coupe for a friend now, I am taking some inspiration from this car.
