View Full Version : Disciple of Bill from Austin
Bill - I like the concept of this site! More about appreciating all types of cars than pigeon-holing yourself into a 69 Camaro with an LS1 and a 6 speed, and debating whether or not a car fits in a certain category.
Good luck... I will post some pics of my new rides soon.:attnwhore:

Agreed! I like all sorts of cars.
It's kinda like music - I like "good" music. Some of it from almost every genre!

Thanks John, and for those that do not know, I bought the goat from John. I also bought a 67 Chevelle SS convert from him on the way home from SEMA last year. That car was gone before I got it home. A friend of mine that knew I was getting it told someone about it, and they met me about 25 miles before I got it home...
John has some very good connections around Austin and the cars from that area are prestine, compared to the rust buckets we have here. The goat was just rust free, period. Original sheetmetal, which use striped and repainted. Anyway, this is a shameless plug for a great friend and if you are looking for something nice, complete or project, pm him. He will find something. :thumb:
Yeah, no corners here, all cars are welcomed and wanting. We are not so much into car art, aka, something that never sees sunlight, but even them are nice to look at the pictures.

Welcome Sam. I've been looking forward to planning a trip to the Austin area. Probably in late summer. I get around.
I forgot to mention we have a small shop over in South Austin... so you motorheads be sure to drop me a PM if you are ever in town.... Current projects are:
68 Chevelle SS502 Vert - my personal beast
70 Chevelle SS454 Vert
70 Chevelle PT wagon
67 El Camino (shop truck)
67 Chevelle SS396 4 speed w/air
69 Camaro w/406, C5 brakes etc.
A bunch of old triumphs
So there is plenty to see and cold beer in the fridge....
Bill, buy another car so you can come hang out for awhile.
-John
