hey guys, i am looking into wiring for my car, i am thinking of 2, painless or american auto wire, i would like to upgrade to blade style fuses, as well as having aux outputs labeled for elec fan, fuel pump, ign, driving lights, stereo etc etc, does anyone offer a kit that still includes the fire wall block, or do they have the main fuse block and you have block off factory block hole and run a grommet thru the firewall with all the engine wires?? i would like to have the same style bolt on blocks, so i have one harness for under dash, one for rear body, and one for fornt lights and one for engine, thanks

Have you talked to American Auto Wire directly yet?
I looked at their stuff at Year One and was really impressed. I am sure they could custom something if you needed it for a fee, but the regular one might be enough. I have painless in the goat, but not impressed at all. We have had to redo acouple things that just were not right.
Call them, they are very helpful.

I used the classic update AAW harness on my 68 (thru Frank @ Prodigy Customs) and it was the first time I have ever wired a car. AAW was very helpful every time I called for help!

AAW rocks. I've never used Painless, but my AAW kit had everything, plenty of wire, connectors, right gauge, etc.
I was impressed, and won't go anywhere else.
