Hi folks!
Need some advice regarding new shocks instead of my Hi Jackers that followed with the car ! :moon:
I´ve paid the shocks from Edelbrock some attention, what´s your opinion of them??
I really want to have something slightly better then stock but no racing equipment! :burnout:

I have the edlebrock shocks on the malibu and really like them. No more racing than I do, they are fine. Probably not the best choice for a autocross setup, but very comfortable, yet controlled ride.

I had the edelbrock ias all around and on my car they did not ride well with the Hotchkis drop coils/leafs. They made the car handle great, but VERY stiff. Beat me to death on the '05 Power Tour.

While I save up for properly valved Bilsteins, I have just standard gas shocks. In the future I'll use the Bilsteins for the track and standard gas shocks for cruising and/or long trips.

I have KONI's on all corners and they are set to the mid-setting and they make the car pretty stiff driving normally. Wife complains about the car not being comfortable, I try to tell her its a sport/race car  But it behaves VERY good being driven.
I have been thinking on adjustng them a little softer to see what that will do. Shocks are often underrated when it comes to a cars handling, wrongly adjusted they can do worse to a car.

JanYeah, I initially blamed the harsh ride on the Hotchkis TVS, but it was definitely the Eddy IAS shocks. I was surprised that even with standard FLAPS gas shocks, the handling is still excellent.
